Many of whom no nothing about the language, , attack incessantly with insults and worse the one guy who can read and write the language and can talk about it in an intelligent manner. Take this piece of idiocy , 50% of Cornish users, speak, read and write LC !!!
Don't be a moron Keith, you know why there are multiple forms of the
SWF, because half of Cornish speakers prefer Middle Cornish and the
other half prefer Late Cornish, the SWF takes all Cornish speakers'
preferences into account, a single form would not have been acceptable
to many, especially you if it wasn't KK, of course if it was I'm sure
you'd be the one here most promoting the SWF, you're as transparent as
air.
Of course this person seemingly is unaware that those attacking the Kesva and others for not supporting the SWF,do not support it either !, they use their own standard , called as you may guess Kernowek Standard.
So what has changed since 1985,we have had on the once side Kernewek Kemmyn, which has held examinations, published a monthly magazine, published much material , including 3 dictionaries, the New Testament, parts of the Old Testament, poetry, prose the list goes on.What has the 'other side ' produced? Well for a start it cannot make up it's mind what orthography to use,Unified Cornish, Unified Cornish Revised, or Kernowe(a)k Standard. A dictionary in UCR an orthography now useless, a reprint of Nance's dictionary in Unified, (now they are saying Nance got it wrong as well ), some materiel in Kernowek Standard,an orthography which is still changing, making that materiel obsolete pretty soon.
Late Cornish has changed it's orthography about 4 times in the last 10 years, again unstable.
The only stable orthography has been and is Kernewek Kemmyn.!
